Weather today:The weather patterns in the country are showing different colors at this time. The impact of the movement in the sea is clearly visible on coastal states like West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

At the same time, in many areas of Maharashtra, especially in Latur, strong rains have caused heavy damage to farmers’ crops.
Monsoon was finally said goodbye to Delhi
The biggest news for the people of Delhi is that the Southwest monsoon has taken farewell on 24 September. The monsoon usually returns from Delhi on 25 September, but this time it left a day earlier.
This is also special because this is the first time in the last 10 years that the monsoon has gone on or before. Last year i.e. in 2024, the monsoon went on 2 October and in 2013 and on 17 October from Delhi.
But even on the go, the monsoon soaked Delhi this year. This season, Delhi received 41% more rainfall than normal. If we look at the figures, this year there was a total of 902.6 mm of rain, while the average rainfall is only 640.4 mm.

According to the Meteorological Department, even though the monsoon has gone from Delhi, the rainy season will still continue in many parts of the country.
- There may be heavy rain here: Light to moderate rains are likely to rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha and parts of Chhattisgarh.
- Expect light to moderate rain here: Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Southern Gujarat, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Konkan, Goa, Northern Central Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Southern Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
- Light sprays can also occur in these areas: Light rains may also occur in the state of Northeast India, the Terai region of Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
