An educated, 43 year old doctor… whose job was to save people’s lives, but now she is accused of conspiring to cause destruction in 6 cities of the country. The name is Dr. Shaheen Shahid, whom the investigating agencies are now calling the ‘Madam Surgeon’ of terrorism.
When the agencies reached Shaheen while investigating a car blast that took place on November 10 in Delhi, they came to know about a dreadful conspiracy which was being prepared for the last one year. The threads of this conspiracy are directly connected to Pakistan’s terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The diaries, digital files and notes found from Dr. Shaheen, who was arrested from Faridabad, have shocked the investigating agencies. These documents mention a mission, which was codenamed ‘D-6 Mission’,

Investigation revealed that Shaheen was not alone in this game. Two more Kashmiri doctors along with him – Dr. Muzammil Ahmed Ganai And Dr. Omar Un Nabi – were also part of this network.

This money was to be used to join new people to the organization, create hideouts, buy phones and conduct recce of target areas. Now the agencies are also investigating 7 bank accounts of Shaheen.
The story of becoming ‘Madam Surgeon’ from a quiet doctor
The most surprising thing is that how did an educated doctor go on this path?
Shaheen worked in a medical college in Kanpur. The people there remember her as a calm woman who struggled with problems in her personal life. But around 2010, her life took a turn when she came in contact with a foreign doctor. That doctor started sending him videos with fundamentalist ideology.
Gradually Shaheen got brainwashed, and by 2021 she had completely changed. When one of her relatives asked her why she was leaving her job, marriage and responsibilities, she gave a shocking answer:
“I’ve lived enough for myself. Now it’s time to repay my debt to my community.”
Investigation revealed that in March 2022, the entire team had gone to Türkiye, where they met ISI handler Abu Ukasha. The agencies believe that it was in this meeting that they got the green signal to carry out the ‘D-6 mission’.
