Mamta Banerjee shared a post on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, ‘The law which is being talked about by the central government, the state government has nothing to do with it.’ We have not supported the Waqf Act and this law will not be applicable in Bengal. He also said, “Strict action will be taken against those who provoke people on this issue.”
