Nitish Kumar increased suspense
The Central Government’s Waqf Amendment Bill is being strongly opposed by the opposition. On the other hand, the NDA claims that all BJP allies will also support this bill. However, Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan have increased suspense. The parties of the two leaders have not yet officially announced their support for the bill.
Statements of two leaders
Nitish Kumar’s party JDU leader Ghulam Gaus appealed to the government to withdraw the bill, saying that there was a lot of damage during the farmer movement and in the end the bill had to be withdrawn. It cannot be said that my party supports this bill, because our Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has not given any statement on this issue.
Another JDU leader Lalan Singh said on the issue that we will put our party in Parliament. We do not need to take certificates from the opposition. Nitish Kumar does not need Congress certificate. The Congress ruled for so many years but what did it do for Muslims? Nitish Kumar has worked for the social, educational and economic upliftment of Muslims.
