“Visa expensive, honor less … what kind of foreign policy?” – Akhilesh Yadav tightened the government

The government often pats its back over the country’s foreign policy and the growing stature of India in the world, but Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav does not seem to agree at all. He has strongly attacked the government over the increase in the visa fee by the US and said that this is a proof of India’s weak foreign policy.

In a post on X (which was earlier Twitter) on Tuesday, Akhilesh Yadav wrote, “On the one hand the US has doubled the visa fee for Indians, on the other hand the statement of Russian President has questioned India’s non -alignment policy.” Describing it as a ‘historical mistake’, he said that this has never happened before.

Akhilesh Yadav saw it not just like a decision, but by linking it with the honor of India. He said, “We are getting double insults under BJP’s rule. We have to pay more money for visa and our honor is also decreasing.”

His target is clearly on the government’s foreign policy of the government, on which it is often talked about ‘India’s danka ringing in the world’. Akhilesh says that if our influence was really so strong, then such decisions would not be taken for our citizens.

What is the whole matter?

In fact, the US has recently increased the fees of some essential visas like H-1B (H-1B) and L-1 (L-1). This will directly affect thousands of Indian students and IT professionals who go to America to work and study every year. Now they have to spend a lot of money for the visa than before.

Akhilesh Yadav has surrounded the government by catching this issue. He says that the government beat up its friendship around the world, but when it comes to the interests of its own people, then this friendship is not visible anywhere. He raised the question that when our relations are so good, why is this ‘punishment’ to our people?

This statement has come at a time when the atmosphere of elections has started to be created in the country, and the opposition is trying to surround it by questioning the policies of the government on every occasion.
