President announced 30 days of Emergency

Huge increase in cases of murder and forced recovery
Peru’s violence can also be gauged from the fact that from January 1 to March 16, the police registered 459 cases of murder, while 1,909 cases of forced recovery were registered in January alone. Violence reached its peak on Sunday after the murder of Paul Flores, the leading singer of the famous band ‘Armonia 10’.
