Following this complaint by users, the company has now expanded its 5G network to 11 major cricket stadiums in India. Vodafone Idea has expanded its 5G network to major stadiums in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Visakhapatnam. So now all the users going to watch the match in this stadium will be able to enjoy the 5G network of Vodafone Idea along with the match. So users can go live on their social media account and also share their reels from the stadium.

Considering high data usage in crowded places, VI has strengthened its network infrastructure. The company has set up 53 new 5G sites, upgrade 44 existing sites and also deploy 9 cell on wheels (COW) to ensure that there is no disruption in the network during the match. In addition, VI has deployed advanced techniques such as Massive MIMO and BTS to ensure that users sitting in the stadium get fast signal and high-speed data. V’s 5G network is available to all customers with 5G-capable smartphone. For this, users will have to go to their mobile settings and turn on 5G. There is no separate fee to use this feature.
