Etawah, 04 August (HS). In Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, after a collision between a double-decker bus and a car going from Raebareli to Delhi on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway under Thana Usrahar area, the bus went out of control and fell into a 50 feet deep ditch. In the accident, six passengers in the bus and car died and more than two dozen passengers are seriously injured. Police conducted a rescue operation and admitted the injured to Saifai Medical University.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Verma said that after a double-decker bus going from Raebareli to Delhi collided with a car on the Agra Lucknow Expressway under Thana Usrahar area, the bus lost control and fell into a ditch below the highway. In the accident, six passengers travelling in the bus and the car died and many passengers were injured. He said that the accident happened due to the bus driver dozing off.
