Security agencies have become alert after the Pahalgam terror attack. Police have arrested two suspects who served pony with fake identity on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Marg in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. During the investigation, the real identity of an accused has been stirred up.

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the vigilance of security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir has been increased. In this sequence, the police arrested two suspects on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Marg in Katra in Reasi district, who were doing pony service with the help of fake identity.
Manir Hussain became Puran Singh
According to police sources, during routine checking near Shri Geeta Mata temple, the police stopped a person who described himself as “Puran Singh”. When he was strictly questioned, his true identity came to light – he turned out to be Manir Hussain. He illegally used to provide pony service using the service card of another person.
Sahil Khan was providing unlicensed pony service
In another case, Sahil Khan, a resident of Kotli (Jammu) near Banganga Bridge, was caught providing pony service without any valid license. In the police interrogation, he also admitted that he had no official permission.
Police continues to monitor strict monitoring
A case has been registered against both the accused under the relevant sections and further investigation is on. The police have intensified the monitoring and verification campaign to stop illegal activities on the temple road. All service providers have been appealed to keep valid documents. Also, the common people have been requested to immediately inform the police about any suspicious activity.
