Administration strict: Internet shut down in 5 districts, security forces alert
In view of the tense situation, the Manipur government has made strict security arrangements. Internet services have been completely suspended for three days in five districts of the valley—Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur. Additional security forces have been deployed in the border areas to prevent further spread of violence.
