TT Jagannathan passes away: TT Jagannathan, honorary chairman of kitchen appliance manufacturing company TTK Prestige Limited, passed away late on Thursday night. According to the information given on the company’s website, Jagannathan, popularly known as “Kitchen Mogul”, was on the board of TTK Prestige for the last 50 years and played an important role in steering the TTK Group out of difficult situations and making it debt free.

He was a gold medalist from IIT Chennai and received his PhD in Operations Research from Cornell University. He is the author of the book ‘Disrupt and Conquer-How TTK Prestige Became a Billion Dollar Company’ which chronicles the company’s journey, its various milestones and its efforts to become a successful agency after battling bankruptcy.

Jagannathan had said, “If you don’t know how to cook, you are not in the cooking business.”
