With this thinking, ten tribal youths of Kanke village are being trained to blow up drones, so that they can use new technology with the help of drones in the fields. This is really future cultivation!

This entire initiative is being run by the Department of Agriculture and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Its aim is clear – making farming easy, fast and high yielding. The ten tribal youths who have been selected are ‘Uttam ideal farmers’ of Kanke. This is not a simple training, but is a special course of ‘Nano Drone Remote Sensing aerial Vehicle Pilot’. Think, these youth will be adept at blowing drones and with his help, they will deal with farming work!

Now you will ask what will the drone do in farming? So the answer is a lot! Monitoring the fields with the help of drones will make it very easy. The drone can see from above and tell that in which part is less water or more, where is the need for which medicine or fertilizer, or there is no disease in the crop. Apart from this, medicines and fertilizer can be sprayed in the fields in less time and accurately than drones. This will also reduce the waste of medicine and fertilizer, because it will fall exactly where it is needed.

The model of this modern farming is showing and teaching the people of ICAR’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) village. With this training, the youth are not getting only a new skill, but they will also get a new employment. They can use drones in farming themselves, or they can earn money by giving their drone service to other farmers. This new technology is strengthening our farmers and is also strengthening the rural economy. This effort of Kanke is really becoming a new example!
