Lucknow: The weather patterns will change today in Lucknow and surrounding areas, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast of rain and thunderstorms in Lucknow for 30 June 2025. Due to the activation of monsoon, the city will be cloudy and there is a possibility of intermittent rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, today there may be intermittent rain in Lucknow throughout the day. There is also a possibility of lightning in some areas with strong showers and thunderstorms. In view of this, IMD has issued a related alert and advised people to be vigilant.

The temperature is expected to fall due to rain, which will give people some relief from the heat of the previous days. However, waterlogging problems in low -lying areas can also occur. Air speed is estimated to be normal.

Meteorologists say that due to the monsoon winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and the local seasonal system, the circumstances in many parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow remain favorable for rain. The same season is likely to remain the same for the next few days.

People have been appealed to stay in safe places during bad weather and keep distance from trees or electric poles while lightning or thunderstorms.
