Honda has unveiled its brand new electric car series ‘Honda 0 Series’, and the first glimpse of it, the Honda 0 α (Alpha), suggests that it is going to be something very big and different.

Honda says that this series is built on the principle of “Thin, Light and Wise”. In simple language, these vehicles will be light in weight, powerful in battery and very smart in technology. The company will bring many models under this series, one of which may be seen running on the roads of India by 2027.

What is the first car of this series – Honda 0 α?

Honda 0 α is the hero model of this new series. It looks to be a futuristic electric SUV, which has been specially designed for today’s youth and technology lovers.

The most important thing is that it was not made by replacing any petrol vehicle, but has been designed from the beginning as an electric car. So when will it come to India?

According to Honda’s plan, the first electric SUV of this series can be launched in India in early 2027. Initially it will be brought from abroad completely ready-made, but later the company can start manufacturing it in India itself so that its price can be kept low.

Experts believe that it will be a mid-size SUV, which after coming in the market, will give direct competition to vehicles like Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE6 and Hyundai Creta EV.

What features and range to expect?

The company has not said anything concrete yet, but it is estimated that Honda 0 α will be able to run for 500 to 600 kilometers once fully charged. It will get all the modern features like fast-charging, driving assistance like auto-pilot and connected car technology.
