The accident took place when a bus filled with pilgrims from Ayodhya returning to see Lord Rama, collided with a trailer standing on the roadside. The collision was so terrible that the front of the bus was completely ruined.
This painful incident took place on the Ayodhya-Prayagraj highway near Badlapur police station area. It is being told that about 60-70 pilgrims from Durg district of Chhattisgarh were riding in the bus. All these people were going to Varanasi after visiting Ayodhya. In the morning, when the bus was passing through the highway, the driver probably got a nap and the bus entered the trailer standing directly on the road.

After the collision, there was a scream among the passengers sleeping in the bus. The accident was so severe that many passengers died on the spot, while many people got stuck badly inside the bus. When the nearby villagers heard the sound of a loud blast and heard the screams of the people, they immediately ran towards the spot.
Local people and police reached the spot and immediately started the rescue work. The injured passengers trapped in the bus were somehow taken out and sent to a nearby community health center and district hospital for treatment.
