Long queues of trains on the roads and being stuck in jam for hours are common here. But now there is good news for thousands of people traveling daily on this path. The Noida Authority is going to create a special ‘Model Mobility Corridor’ to eliminate the problem of this jam.
What is this ‘Model Mobility Corridor’ plan?
The corridor will start from the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, starting from Model Town Golchakkar at Sector-62 to Sector-60 Mamura. The main objective of this project is to separate long distance and short distance traffic.

Traffic sharing: Under the scheme, the vehicles that are traveling long distances (such as expressway) will use the main road. At the same time, those who have to travel short distance (such as going to the surrounding sectors) will be built for them or existing service road will be improved. This will significantly reduce the pressure of vehicles on the main road.
Work on project starts, tender issued
The tender for the construction of this corridor has also been issued on the instructions of Noida Authority CEO Lokesh M. Interested companies can apply for this by 30 April. The tender will be opened on 1 May and then the working agency will be elected.
Work will be completed in six months
Once the agency is finalized, the target has been set to complete the work of making this corridor within six months. During this time, attention will be paid not only to facilitate traffic, but also work related to road safety and beautification will be done.
Rolchakkar small, removing toilet, auto stand will be made
Interestingly, the authority has started some work at the ground level even before the company is elected.
