The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow alert for the coming week to Kolkata, which means that this round of rain is not going to stop yet.
Not only this, for today Orange alert Has been released. The Meteorological Department says that a low pressure area is being formed, due to which the areas of Kolkata and South 24 Parganas may receive very heavy rains in the next 24 hours.
After this warning, all the worship organizers of the city have been kept on high alert, so that any kind of untoward can be dealt with and the safety of the devotees coming to the pandals can be ensured.
