An incident that shames the sacred relationship of Guru-Shishya has come to light from Karanpathar police station area of Anuppur district. Here a teacher took a 12th class student to a dilapidated school in the name of filling the form for the open examination and forcibly made her drink alcohol and then raped her. After this heinous incident, the victim lodged a complaint with the police, on the basis of which a case has been registered against the accused teacher.

The 19-year-old victim, a resident of Karnapathar police station area, said that she studied 9th and 10th in the government school of her village and 11th in the government school of Shahdol. This year she wanted to give the 12th examination from the open board. On August 23, she went to Khamrod Vidyalaya to fill the form for the open examination, where she met the school principal Uday Narayan Singh Baghel.
The principal told the student that she had to go to Shahdol to fill the form and asked her to take him with her to Shahdol. But instead of taking her to Shahdol, the accused teacher took her to an old, dilapidated school building in a marshy area. After reaching there, he snatched the student's mobile phone and forcibly made her drink alcohol. When the student protested, the teacher beat her and then took her to a room and raped her.
