Today, on 14 April, the constitution maker, social reformer and leading leader of Dalit movement, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, is being paid tributes across the country on the occasion of the birth anniversary. On this occasion, many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saluted Babasaheb.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message
Prime Minister Modi shared a video on social media and wrote that Bharat Ratna Babasaheb is saluted by the countrymen. He said that with the inspiration of Babasaheb, the country is working devoted to realize the dreams of social justice today. Their principles guide towards self -reliant and developed India.

Home Minister Amit Shah told the inspiration
Home Minister Amit Shah said that Babasaheb, who laid the foundation of the social revolution on the strength of education, equality and justice, fought to protect the rights of the deprived class. He gave a strong foundation to the democratic tradition of India by creating the Constitution on the basis of equality, freedom and fraternity. He described Dr. Ambedkar as a symbol of the self -respect of crores of countrymen.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s statement
Om Birla said that Babasaheb worked throughout his life for equality, freedom and justice in society. After coming out of difficult situations, he made education a medium of change and created the Constitution of India as the chairman of the drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly. He also said that Babasaheb’s personality has become more relevant during the 75 -year celebration of Constitution Admission.

Tribute of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described Babasaheb as ‘Bharat Ratna’ and a vibrant school of democracy and said that his life is inspiring for the establishment of a universal and judicious society. He bowed to him as the craftsman of the Indian Constitution.

Tributes of Kiran Rijiju and other leaders
Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju paid tribute to Ambedkar Memorial House at Ambedkar’s residence in London. He told that this is the same place where Babasaheb resided while studying law.

Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated every year on 14 April. On this day rallies, cultural programs and seminars are organized across the country, in which Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution is remembered. His ideology still remains a source of inspiration towards equality, education and social justice.
