The three pieces were sent to Kalina Forensic Lab for chemical analysis. The report proved that the three pieces were of the same knife. This is a strong evidence against the accused and a charge sheet will be filed against him. The accused is Bangladeshi and is likely to escape, as he is living illegally in India. The possibility of this type of crime again cannot be ruled out. The police argued that the crime was serious and concrete evidence was present. The court has set a hearing on 9 April.
