Eight people have died in a horrific road accident in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place on Katra Bilhaur Road in Mallawan Kotwali area, where late at night an overloaded truck filled with sand overturned on a family sleeping outside a hut near Chungi number two, killing all eight people. An innocent girl was injured in this accident, who has been sent to the hospital for treatment.
The deceased Bhalla Kanjar of the incident lived with his family in a hut on the roadside. Like every day, on Tuesday night too, the whole family was sleeping on the roadside outside the hut after having dinner together. Early on Wednesday morning, a truck full of sand going from Mehndi Ghat Kanauj to Hardoi overturned on the hut, in which the whole family of Bhalla Kanjar was buried and everyone died.
Whoever heard the news of the incident reached the spot. People informed the DM and SP who reached the spot about the incident. With the help of JCB and Hydra, the police took out the bodies of all the people buried under the truck and after preparing the Panchnama, sent them for post-mortem. Only one girl survived in this incident who is injured and is undergoing treatment. There is an atmosphere of chaos in the area due to the incident.
