Ayodhya, 03 August (HS). The body of an innocent Dalit girl missing from Kondara village of Mawai police station area was found on Saturday, the fourth day, from inside the RCC drain in front of the house. The police got the drain broken and took out the body and sent it for post-mortem.
According to the information, due to the humid heat on Tuesday late night, Kundra village resident Vishram's wife Sangeeta was sleeping on the roof with her 3-year-old innocent daughter Jyoti, who was born 12 days ago. Father Vishram Rawat was sleeping with his son outside the house. On Wednesday morning around 4 am, when the wife woke up, she saw that her daughter Jyoti was missing from the bed. The family searched for her a lot. Saddened by the fact that the daughter was nowhere to be found, father Vishram lodged a missing complaint in the police station. Taking the matter seriously, CO Ashish Nigam, SO Sandeep Tripathi along with the team reached the village and after talking to the family members, started searching for the innocent Jyoti. For three days the police kept trying continuously, but there was no trace of the innocent girl. On Saturday again, in the presence of SO Sandeep Tripathi, the team of police personnel were searching around the house when the police personnel felt some foul smell from the drain.
The police immediately spoke to the village head Awadhesh Yadav and in the presence of SHO Sandeep Tripathi, the village head got the drain broken by using labour. After breaking the drain a little, the body of the girl was seen inside the closed drain, after which the body was recovered by breaking the lid of the drain. SO Sandeep Tripathi said that after a lot of effort, today on the fourth day, the body of the girl has been recovered from the RCC drain near her house. The drain has been broken. After breaking the drain, the body has been sent for postmortem and further action is being taken.
