Mohammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh, has poisoned India while addressing the United Nations General Assembly. He has said that there is tension between India and Bangladesh since the beginning of giving shelter to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He told this global platform that Indian students did not like this protest. Due to which Hasina was removed from her post.

Yunus, who was present in New York for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), further said, “We have a problem with India at the moment because they did not like the behavior of students. They are hosting former Prime Minister Hasina, who created all these problems and knew the youth. This has increased the tension between India and Bangladesh.” The Bangladesh’s undemocratic leader also criticized some alleged fake news, in which the student movement was described as an Islamic movement.

He said, “False reports are also coming from the other side, various types of propaganda is being done that students’ protests are very bad and it is an Islamic movement. It is the same Taliban who captured Bangladesh. They say I am also a Taliban.” Yunus described SAARC countries as “members of family members” and called for the revival of this South Asian Group, which has been inactive for almost a decade.

After violent student protests in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina fled to India on August 5, 2024. Then, by the intervention of foreign forces, despite being found guilty of corruption, Mohammad Yunus was made the supreme leader of the country.
