If any important work is stuck in your bank, then complete it tomorrow, because you are going to get less one day this week. Yes, on Friday, September 5, 2025, banks are going to be closed in many parts of the country.

Why will the banks be closed?

Friday is the festival of Eid-e-Milad (Milad-un-Nabi), which is celebrated as the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad Saheb. This is a national holiday, and for this reason all government and private banks will remain holiday. Whether your account is in SBI, HDFC, ICICI or in any other bank, there will be no work everywhere.

What work will be affected?

The closure of the bank means that you will not be able to go to the branch to update the passbook, deposit or withdraw cash, make a draft or do any kind of paperwork. Therefore, if there is any such work, it would be sensible to deal with it on Thursday.

Online banking will be operational

However, you do not have to panic due to the shutdown of the branch. Even during the holidays, you can do most of your banking work sitting at home. You can easily transfer money through UPI, net banking and mobile banking. Apart from this, ATM machines will also continue to work as before, from where you can withdraw cash.

So remember, if there is any work to go to the bank, then definitely complete it by Thursday, so that you do not have to face any kind of trouble.
