The feature was initially in testing mode for the past few weeks, available to beta users of the Android version. However, the company has now started rolling out this unique feature to all users and according to reports, it will be available to more users in the coming weeks.
New Update on Google Play Store:
WhatsApp said that they are working on this feature to provide users more flexibility and control over their channels. Through this feature, users can grant other users access to their channel's administrative responsibilities when needed. The company informed users that this new update for WhatsApp Channels will be available through Android 2.24.4.22 update, which has been released on Google Play Store.
