News India Live, Digital Desk: Security forces have geared up to completely eliminate Naxalism from the Saranda forests of Jharkhand. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Special Director General (DG) Deepak Kumar on Saturday gave a blunt warning to the Naxalites of the banned organization CPI (Maoist). While addressing the media after the security review meeting at Baliba Camp in West Singhbhum, he said that the Naxalites now have only one month’s time; They should either surrender or be prepared to face the consequences.

Misir Besra squad surrounded by security forces

Special DG clarified that the biggest target of the security forces is Politburo member Misir Besra alias Sagar. Presently Misir Besra along with his 40-45 companions are surrounded in the dense forests of Saranda. Security forces have completely sealed an area of about 21 square kilometers. Deepak Kumar said, “Misir Besra and his squad now have no way to escape. The borders of Chhattisgarh and Odisha have been blocked and their supply lines have been cut.”

“Every life is precious, but now is the time for a decisive battle.”

Deepak Kumar said in an emotional but strict tone that Naxalites are also citizens of this country and we do not want anyone to lose their lives. “We are giving them a month’s time so that they return to the mainstream of the society. But if they do not do so, the encounter now will be final and decisive,” he said. It is noteworthy that recently the security forces have killed four Naxalites, due to which the Naxalite organizations are completely on the back foot.

Grand strategy made in Baliba camp of Saranda

The Special DG held a high-level meeting for about two hours at the CRPF camp in Baliba. Many top officials including CRPF IG Saket Kumar Singh, STF IG Anoop Birthare and West Singhbhum SP Amit Renu were present in this meeting. The blueprint of the operation was finalized during the meeting. Encouraging the soldiers, the DG said that Jharkhand will be declared Naxal free very soon.

Took care of sick soldiers also

The sensitivity of the Special DG was also visible during the conversation with the media. While he was addressing the press, a soldier suffering from malaria fainted. Deepak Kumar immediately stopped his address and directed to airlift the sick soldiers to Ranchi in his own helicopter for better treatment. A total of seven soldiers have been sent to the hospital for better treatment. This shows that the leadership is completely serious not only about the operation but also about the health of its soldiers.
