
A very shocking and disturbing case has come to light from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Here on the auspicious occasion of Bakrid, a 60 -year -old elderly man took his life. The surprising thing is that this person hit himself with a sharp weapon and claimed that this is a “sacrifice” of him. As soon as the information of the incident was received, there was a stir in the area and the police started investigation in view of the seriousness of the case.
What was the whole matter?
The incident is from Kushi village of Khampar police station area of Deoria. Here 60 -year -old Farooq Ahmed killed himself with a sharp weapon at around 3 am on the day of Bakrid. When the family members woke up in the morning and saw Farooq’s body, there was a shouts all around. The police was immediately informed about this.
The recovered suicide note increased surprise
When the police reached the spot and started the investigation, a suicide note was also recovered from the deceased Farooq. In this note, Farooq Ahmed wrote that he has taken this step as ‘a “sacrifice’ in the name of Allah. It was also clearly written in the note that he is not taking this step due to any pressure, threat or any family dispute. He also wrote that he could not become a good ‘servant’ of Allah and Prophet Muhammad, and regrets him, so he is dedicating himself.
Police statement and further investigation
In the case of this peculiar suicide, SP Sankalp Sharma of Deoria said that the suicide note has been recovered and there is mention of ‘sacrifice’. The SP confirmed that the preliminary investigation seems to be a case of suicide and there are no indications of any kind of conspiracy or external intervention. The police have taken the body of the deceased and sent it for postmortem and all aspects, including suicide note, are being investigated thoroughly so that the whole truth can be known.
The incident has launched a deep debate throughout the region, where such a strange and distracted suicide has put everyone in a cannous on the occasion of a religious festival.
