Taj city Agra is currently in the grip of scorching heat and hot heat, due to which life is being badly affected. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for the city for ‘Heatwave’, and at the moment there is no special relief from the heat. The increasing temperature and humidity has made people live.

On Thursday too, the minimum temperature of Agra is estimated to be between 32 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature between 46 to 47 degrees Celsius. The scorching sun and humid winds are making it difficult to get out during the day. Hot winds are silent on the streets, and people are forced to lurk in their homes.

However, according to IMD, Agra and surrounding areas are expected to get some relief after June 15 and 16. After these dates, pre-monsoon rain is expected, which will bring a slight drop in temperature. The real and comprehensive relief will be found in the last week of June or the first week of July, when the rains of monsoon will cause the entire city to be welled.

The Meteorological Department has advised people to take special care during this period. To avoid scorching heat, avoid the day time, especially between 12 noon and 4 pm, in the sun. If you have to go out, then consume liquids like water, buttermilk, lassi or coconut water more and more, so that there is no lack of water in the body. Wear loose and light clothes and cover the head. Take all the necessary precautions to protect against heatstroke.
