Lucknow: The month of September is about to end, but the outbreak of heat in Uttar Pradesh is not taking its name. From the capital Lucknow to Noida and Meerut, in most districts of the state, people are suffering from humid heat. The monsoon is almost away and due to lack of rain, the temperature is continuously increasing.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), today i.e. on 24 September, there is no special hope of rain in the state.
- Lucknow: The sky will remain clean in the capital today and strong sunlight will come out, which can cross the temperature beyond 35 degrees Celsius.
- Noida and Western UP: The weather will remain dry in most areas of western Uttar Pradesh including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut. Here too people will have to face sticky heat throughout the day.
- Eastern UP: Some areas of Purvanchal may show mild clouds locally, but there is no chance of heavy rains.
So when will you get relief?
According to meteorologists, people may have to wait a little longer for relief from this deadly heat. However, a new system is being formed in the Bay of Bengal, with the effect of which 26 and 27 September In some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh, light to moderate rain may occur with thunderstorms. The temperature will fall after this rain and people will feel some relief from the humidity.
Till then, the Meteorological Department has advised people to take necessary measures to avoid heat, such as least get out of the day and drink plenty of water.
