Ranchi: In Jharkhand, the icy winds coming from the mountains have started wreaking havoc. The situation is such that the temperature is falling rapidly in many areas of the state. On Saturday, the temperature in McCluskieganj of Ranchi reached 6 degrees, while Gumla also recorded a minimum temperature of 6.2 degrees. In view of this sudden increase in cold, the Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning in 12 districts including the capital Ranchi.

‘Yellow alert’ in these 12 districts

  • Daltonganj: 6.0 degree drop in temperature.
  • Jamshedpur: 4.0 degree drop in temperature.

Doctors advised to take precautions

In view of the sudden change in weather and rapidly falling temperature, doctors have advised people to take special precautions. Doctors say that the risk of falling ill increases in this season. Special care needs to be taken especially of children and the elderly. Do not let them go out of the house without wearing warm clothes. It is very important for everyone to wear warm clothes in the morning and evening.
