The murmur of a major increase in the monthly assistance amount under the state government’s most ambitious ‘Laadli Brahmin Yojana’ has intensified. There is discussion in social media and political circles that now the installment of ₹ 1250 that the sisters get every month can be increased to ₹ 1750.

This scheme, started with the aim of making women economically self-reliant and empowered, is now in its next phase. However, official confirmation regarding this increase in the amount is still awaited, but it is believed that the government may make a formal announcement soon.

Ladli Brahmin Yojana: Travel from ₹ 1250 to ₹ 1750

Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana was started to provide economic independence to women.

Increasing amount: Initially this amount was ₹ 1000, which was later increased to ₹ 1250. Now there are preparations to increase it to ₹ 1750, due to which the sisters will be able to get direct financial assistance of ₹ 21,000 annually.

Objective: With the help of this amount, women from rural and urban areas will be able to easily meet their small businesses, children’s education and important household expenses.

Which sisters will get the benefit of increased installment? (Eligibility)

The eligibility rules under the scheme are quite clear, so that the benefits reach only the needy:

Age Limit: The age of the applicant woman should be between 21 to 60 years.

family income: The total annual income of the family should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.

Social class: Married, widowed, divorced and abandoned women are eligible for this scheme.

Exception: If any member of the family is an income tax payer or is in a government job, then they will not get the benefit of this scheme.

When will the first installment of ₹1750 come?

If sources are to be believed, the government may include this increase in the upcoming budget session. It is likely that February or March 2026 The installment can be deposited in the accounts with the increased amount. Sisters are advised to keep track of their bank accounts.
