Shri Maurya participated as the chief guest in the national conference of ‘National Union of Journalists (Uttar Pradesh)’ held in Agra.

Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji participated as the chief guest in the grand national conference of ‘National Union of Journalists, Uttar Pradesh’ organized in Tajnagari Agra today. In this dignified programme, he inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp and addressed the journalists and intellectuals from across the country and state.

Addressing the function, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya underlined the role of media in democracy. He said: "Journalism is the conscious power of democracy, which builds a bridge of trust between the government, society and public sentiments. Unbiased and dedicated to the national interest, journalism has always worked to show the country the right direction. The contribution of journalists in connecting the links between the government and the public is invaluable.
