Share Market Holiday Today: Today i.e. on April 14, the stock market will be closed, due to Ambedkar Jayanti, there will be no trading in NSE-BSE


Today’s holiday in the stock market: Asian markets are trading with an edge today. But, today i.e. on 14 April 2025, Indian markets will remain closed. On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, there will be no trading in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today. Apart from this, commodity markets will also be closed today. However, MCX will continue in the evening session.

Today, on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, there will be no business in both exchanges i.e. NSE and BSE segment. This includes equity, derivatives, SLB and currency derivatives segment.

Know when the markets will be closed in April

According to the information given on the exchanges, the markets will remain closed on another day in April, apart from April 14. The Indian stock market will also be closed on the occasion of Good Friday on 18 April. In addition, there will be a weekly holiday in the market on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no business in the equity market on all these days. On this day there will be no work in the currency derivatives segment, SLB segment and commodity segment.

Commodity markets will also be closed

According to the information given on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), there will be no work here on April 14 and 18. There will be no work on this exchange in both the morning and evening sessions. The morning session on NCDEX is from 10 am to 5 pm. The evening session is from 5 pm to 9 pm.

At the same time, the morning session will remain closed on April 14 on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the functioning will continue in the evening session. However, there will be no work in both sessions on 18 April. The morning session on MCX is from 9 am to 5 pm. The evening session will be held from 5 pm to 11:30 pm/11:55 pm.
