Unidentified assailants brutally murdered a former block chief in Saina police station area of the district. The deceased has been identified as former block chief Haji Yunus. It is being told that he was sleeping in a room in one of his dairy near village Chingravathi in Saina Kotwali area. On Tuesday morning, when the employees of the dairy reached there, they saw the body of Haji Yunus lying in the room. His throat was strangled with a sharp weapon.
The employees immediately reported this dreadful scene to the police and the family of the deceased. On receiving the news, many big police officers and forensic teams including SP City reached the spot and started investigation.
