SBI alerts customers, false claim to give high returns being made through deepfech video


The State Bank of India (SBI) has asked its account holders and the general public to be vigilant towards the Deepfek scam video aired on social media. The bank has issued a public notice warning against such deep -priest video. The video has falsely claimed that SBI has launched an artificial intelligence (AI) -based investment platform with the Government of India and some multinational companies, which gives heavy returns to investors. SBI has clarified that such claims are completely false and no such plans exist.

SBI advice to customers

SBI has advised the customers and the general public to verify the authenticity of any information only through the official website of the bank, the official social media account or the nearest branch. The bank has appealed to the people not to avoid the false promises of such deep -fet videos and do not fall into their deception. SBI has shared a video on its official X (East Twitter) account and said, “We are warning our customers and general public about a deep-fet video going viral on social media. In this video, this video is making a false claim to launch an AI-based investment scheme with the help of SBI, Government of India and multinational companies. There is no such plan to launch an AI-based investment scheme. There is no careful.”

How does Deepfeek video scam works?

Frauds are now using deepfack technology, through which they make fake videos of celebrities or senior officials. This video seems so real that people easily rely on it. Such videos promote false investment plans, so that people become a victim of fraud and invest their money.
