Now the Haryana government has understood this problem and has taken a big and positive step! Soon, 4 villages in the state will get rid of their old and ‘unpleasant’ names and they will get a new, auspicious and glorious identity. This is not just a change of names, but is a symbol of self-esteem and a new beginning for the residents of these villages.
Which villages, which new names? Your new identity!
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, the state government has worked seriously on changing the names of the village which was associated with a ‘ugly’ or ‘unpleasant’ word or which had a historical reason. After getting approval from the Union Home Ministry, now new names of these villages will be officially applicable:

Sirsi – Kaithal District: The name of this village is now ‘Shanti Nagar‘ will be. Think, a name that symbolizes peace and peace.

Kirmara – Hisar District: The new name of this village ‘Krishnnagar‘ will be. This name will be connected to the city of Lord Krishna and will provide a religious and cultural pride to the village.

Dirty (Gandhi) – Fatehabad District: This name is now changed to ‘Sudhanshu Nagar‘ Will be done. All the negativity related to the name like ‘dirty’ will be removed and the village will get new light like ‘Sudhanshu’ (Moon).

Khaminjapura – Yamunanagar District: This village is nowPandav NagarWill be known as’ This name will increase the reputation of the village by joining mythology and valor.
Why was this change necessary?
