Many areas of Uttar Pradesh have finally received heavy rains, which has brought great relief from the scorching heat. Cities like Kanpur, Jhansi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Bareilly and Muzaffarnagar have recorded good rains, which has made the weather happy.
According to the Meteorological Department IMD, this rain is due to the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and the cyclonic circulation cyclonic connected to it. Due to the impact of this system, the monsoon is moving further in Uttar Pradesh. The department estimates that the monsoon activities will intensify in the coming days and it will move towards the rest of the state as well as Madhya Pradesh, parts of Bihar, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department has also predicted light to moderate and heavy rains in different parts of the state in the next few days. This rain is a pleasant sign of the end of the summer season and the arrival of monsoon for Uttar Pradesh.
