On the information of an informer, the Karanwas police station team has arrested the accused who kidnapped and raped a minor girl six and a half months ago from Rajgarh bypass crossing, Beawar. The girl was freed from his clutches and taken to the One Stop Center Rajgarh. Along with this, additional sections were added against the accused and he was presented in the court, from where he was sent to the district jail.
On Friday, SHO Ramesh Jat said that on February 16, the family of the minor girl lodged a complaint, last night the suspect Pradeep son of Ramprasad Verma resident of Sameli lured the girl and took her away. Police registered a case under section 363 against the suspect and started searching. During the investigation, a team formed under the guidance of senior officers arrested the accused Pradeep from Rajgarh bypass crossing, Beawar on the information of the informer and the girl was freed from his clutches and taken to One Stop Center Rajgarh. On the basis of the girl's statements, the police added additional sections 376 (2) N, 5/6 of the POCSO Act against the accused and presented him in the court, from where he was admitted to the district jail. During the action, SHO Ramesh Jat, SI Devendra Singh Rajput, Rakesh Damle, Girivar Singh Marawi, women PR. Maya Nigam, PR. Mohan Sharma, Devendra Singh Meena and other policemen were present.
