Railway’s New Year gift or punishment? MEMU trains canceled again in Jharkhand, trouble increased till 24th December

News India Live, Digital Desk: Once again bad news has come for the railway passengers of Jharkhand, especially those who go “up and down” from one city to another every day for job or college. Railways has vowed to test the patience of passengers in the month of December. Not once or twice a month, but third time Many MEMU passenger trains have been cancelled.

According to the latest update, due to the ongoing development works in Adra Division, many trains are operating. 24th December Will remain closed till. This means that passengers may have to face setbacks for the next two-three days.

Shock for the third time in a month
The passengers had not yet recovered from the previous cancellation when the Railways issued a new order. Earlier also in the same month, trains were stopped twice on different dates citing maintenance (NI Work).

People who travel daily say that the Railways is now doing “as per its own wish”. Bus and auto operators are taking advantage of this and charging arbitrary fares, and the common man is suffering.

Which trains will not run?
if you Dhanbad, Bokaro, Gomoh or Adra If you travel on the route, then definitely check the status before leaving home. Mainly local passenger trains have been affected:

• Adra-Asansol Memu (08644/08643): Will remain cancelled.
• Adra-Khanudrukh Memu (08660/08659): This train will also not run.
• Apart from this, there is disturbance on trains of Barabhum and other local routes also. It has been decided to short terminate some trains midway.

Railway’s own compulsion?
Railways has the same old argument – “Development work is going on”. Officials say that Non-Interlocking (NI) work is necessary to improve and modernize the tracks, hence the block has to be taken. They say that a little trouble today will make tomorrow’s journey safe.

But for the passengers who are standing at the station in the cold and waiting for their train, this argument is of no use at the moment. If you have to travel in the next two days, my advice is to find a bus or go by your own car.
