How to check on the phone

First launch the IRCTC app or website.

Then go to the train or ticket section and select the chart/spaces or reservation chart option.

Then enter the train number, boarding station and date of travel.

After entering all the information, you will get information about how many seats are available in the chart.

If you want to get information about a specific coach or seat, select that option.

Railways will change from July 1

Indian Railways is making changes for railway passengers. These changes will be applicable from 1 July 2025. One of these changes is a change in the rules of Tatkal tickets by the Railways. Under this, from July 1, Aadhaar Verified users will also be able to book Tatkal tickets on IRCTC website or app. With this change, Railways can also increase the ticket prices of trains from July 1. Non -AC mail and express train tickets are 1 paise per kilometer. While AC class can be increased by 2 paise per kilometer. This increase will be for traveling up to 500 km.
