The crisis has arisen due to the damage in the pipeline, while the Ganga water project in Greater Noida was inaugurated two and a half years ago. Despite this, the authority is constantly facing problems due to repeated bursting of the pipeline.

Loss of pipeline:

The main pipeline of Ganga water near D Park located in Sector-12 of Greater Noida West has been damaged to 30-35 meters. Due to this damage, Ganga water supply in the area has been closed for 20 days. Barricading work was being done by the builder near the society, and the pipeline was damaged during this period. However, the pipeline laying organization has informed the authority about this problem, but the repair work has not been started yet.

Water problem in summer:

Lack of water has increased in the summer season. Local residents were hoping that the water problem would be solved when the Ganga water supply started, but the problem has increased further due to the continuous pipeline being damaged.

Authority action:

Greater Noida Authority ACEO Sunil Kumar Singh said that the investigation of the problem in Ganga water will be started soon. He assured that the supply of Ganga water will soon be started smoothly by solving the problem.
