News India Live, Digital Desk: Once again there are signs of major changes in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top BJP leadership have fueled discussions about cabinet expansion in the state. Political temperature is rising from Lucknow to Delhi. It is believed that keeping in mind the 2027 assembly elections, the Yogi government may make major reshuffles in its team, in which there are preparations to give a chance to new faces and remove some old ministers.

Mahamanthan in Delhi: CM Yogi met PM Modi and Shah

In the last few days, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Delhi and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda. This meeting is being seen as preparation for ‘Mission 2027’. According to sources, in the cabinet expansion, special emphasis will be given to solving regional and caste equations. In particular, there has been discussion on increasing the representation of OBC and Dalit communities so that an answer to the ‘PDA’ formula of the opposition can be found.

Coordination with Deputy CM and entry of new faces

There is talk in political circles that the high command is serious about the roles of both the Deputy Chief Ministers, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and their coordination with the organization. The presence of both the Deputy CMs during the meetings held in Delhi has further strengthened the speculations that some major changes are certain in the government and the organization. Many senior MLAs, who had performed brilliantly in the last elections, may be given the responsibility of ministerial posts. At the same time, some ministers performing poorly can be used for the work of the organization.

Eyes fixed on caste equations

In the upcoming reshuffle, special care will be taken of the equations of Western Uttar Pradesh, Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. The BJP leadership believes that to strengthen its hold on the ground, it is necessary to include young and energetic faces in the cabinet. Along with this, names of new ministers can also emerge from the quota of allies (like RLD and Nishad Party). The main objective of this expansion is to make the image of the government more inclusive and to speed up administrative work.

When will the swearing in ceremony take place?

Although no official date has been announced yet by the Raj Bhavan or the government, it is believed that the swearing-in ceremony can be organized at the Raj Bhavan as soon as the auspicious time is seen. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has recently given big gifts to the public through several press notes and cabinet decisions, which clearly shows that the government is now completely in election mode.
