Politics Heats Up Following High Court’s Strict Stance on Arms Licenses; Akhilesh Yadav Launches Major Attack on BJP Politics heats up after High Court’s strictness on arms license Akhilesh Yadav’s major attack on BJP

Allahabad High Court has taken a very strict stand in the matter of misuse of arms licenses in Uttar Pradesh and issue of weapons to people with criminal image. The court has summoned detailed answers on this from top police and administrative officials of all the districts including the Yogi government of the state. Along with this, the court has also sought the complete horoscope of arms licenses of 19 influential people including influential leaders of the state like Raghuraj Pratap Singh (Raja Bhaiya) and Dhananjay Singh.

After this big action of the High Court, the political temperature in Uttar Pradesh has suddenly increased. Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has launched an all-out attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies on this issue. Sharing a long and scathing post on social media platform ‘X’ (earlier Twitter), Akhilesh Yadav has cornered the government on several issues.

‘Licenses are made for real weapons, but what about invisible weapons?’

Starting his post, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote that licenses are made for real weapons, but there are some invisible weapons too, which are secretly attacking the country, society and mutual love from within. His reference was directly towards the alleged politics of division and hatred being spread in the society.

Demand for investigation into BJP’s constructions and donations

Citing the legal fraternity, Akhilesh Yadav demanded that the properties of people associated with BJP should also be thoroughly investigated. He wrote that the lawyers are saying that the documents and maps of the houses, shops, offices and establishments of the BJP members should be called for and their validity should also be checked.

Along with this, he also raised questions on the funds collected by BJP and its allied organizations in the name of various events, construction works and disasters. The SP chief said that complete accounts of ‘various’ donations and funds collected from various places should be sought and they should be properly audited by the government.

Serious questions raised on benami properties and ‘expenses’

Referring to the curiosity of the public, Akhilesh Yadav asked that the legal aspect should also be clarified as to whose name the ‘unregistered’ people take the land and do their construction work? Why do these properties not come under the purview of benami properties?

In a further scathing attack, he wrote that should such constructions of BJP associates involved in secret activities be called ‘offices’ or ‘addas’? Who bears the daily expenses of these illegal people? Its entire raw form should be discovered and opened to the public. He also raised the question that why do these so-called indigenous people go on foreign trips again and again?

Accused of disturbing social harmony and hatching a conspiracy

In the last part of his post, the SP chief also targeted the history of ideological organizations of BJP. He alleged that whose puppets have these people been since the colonial times (British era) and why do they have a history of whistleblowing?

Akhilesh Yadav directly alleged that these comrades deliberately work to disturb social harmony. In the end he wrote that the lawyers are now also asking that under what new conspiracy are these people getting lathicharged on ‘Manas ke Maan’? This war of words, which started after the strictness of the High Court, is going to heat up the politics of Uttar Pradesh more in the coming days.
