Political turmoil in Jharkhand: Will Hemant Soren also turn back? JMM breaks silence on alliance with BJP

Posts

News India Live, Digital Desk: There is a severe cold in the politics of Jharkhand these days, but the political temperature is very hot. For the last few days, only one thing is floating in the air – “Is Hemant Soren going with BJP?”

After Nitish Kumar repeatedly changing sides in Bihar and recently Champai Soren joining BJP, people have started feeling that nothing is impossible in politics now. There is even talk that Soren is angry with ‘India Alliance’ not giving bid to JMM in Bihar assembly elections and he may move to NDA.

But wait! Now Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has made its stand clear on these floating news. Let us know what the matter is.

JMM’s befitting reply to rumors

When these news of alliance started gaining momentum, JMM spokesperson Manoj Pandey had to come forward. While talking to the media, he has completely rejected these speculations. He said clearly, “This is all a conspiracy by the opponents and a ‘mind game’. Our alliance (India Bloc) is strong and we are not going anywhere.”

Manoj Pandey boldly said that the ideology of BJP and JMM is completely different. “We are the people who talk about water, forest and land, how can we go along with those against whom we have fought?” That means at present there is ‘no’ from the party’s side.

Then why did this smoke arise?

It is said that without fire there is no smoke. The root of this entire discussion is ‘Bihar Assembly Elections’. Actually, JMM wanted to contest elections in Bihar along with RJD and Congress and was demanding some seats. But the India alliance did not pay much attention to his demand.

From here, speculations started that Hemant Soren might take some big step after being angry with being ignored. The opposition is also adding fuel to this fire and is claiming that many JMM MLAs are in touch with them.

Trust no one…

Even though JMM has officially termed it as a rumour, in politics it becomes “today’s no, tomorrow’s yes”. The people of Jharkhand have seen so much political drama in the last few years that they are not ruling out any possibility.

The current situation is that Hemant Soren is running his ‘Abua Government’ and remains in the alliance. But only time will tell when the ‘teasing’ going on inside will blossom. Till then just enjoy these political discussions with a sip of tea!
