News India Live, Digital Desk: A police vehicle has crashed in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, in which a police constable has been injured. However, sub-inspector and driver narrowly escaped the accident. The incident happened when the police team was on patrol or was going on some duty.
The accident occurred near Bilsi police station on Bareilly-Agra highway. According to the information received, the accident occurred on Monday night when the police coming at a high speed, the Bolero vehicle uncontrolled and overturned on the roadside. The local people immediately reached the spot and helped the policemen. He took out the soldiers trapped in the vehicle and informed the police and emergency services.
The constable injured in the accident was immediately rushed to the local hospital, where he was given first aid. His injuries are not said to be serious. The sub-inspector and the driver suffered minor scratches and did not suffer any serious injury. Superintendent of Police (Rural) said that the cause of the accident was being investigated. In the initial investigation, it seems that the accident occurred due to deteriorating balance of the vehicle.
After this incident, traffic on the highway was interrupted for a while, but was later normalized. The incident highlights the risks faced by the policemen on duty.
