PM Kisan’s Big Announcement: Now there will be no installment without e-KYC, all beneficiaries should do this work immediately

News India Live, Digital Desk: PM Kisan’s Big Announcement: Under the ambitious scheme ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ of the Government of India, an important and compulsory announcement has been made on the financial assistance to farmers. It has now been made very important for all the beneficiaries of this scheme to get ‘e-KYC’ Electronic Know Your Customer. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has given clear instructions that farmers whose e-KYC has not been done will not get the benefit of the upcoming installments. This step has been taken to bring transparency in the scheme, prevent frauds and ensure that its benefits reach only the eligible and real farmers. If you are also the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana and you have not yet done your e-KYC, then you should do this work without any delay. This process is very simple and can be completed in two main ways. The first way is ‘OTP-based e-KYC’, which you can easily do by visiting the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi at PMKISAN.Gov.in. For this, the mobile number connected to your Aadhaar card should be active so that OTP can come on it. The second method is ‘biometric based e-KYC’, for which you have to visit your nearest general service center CSC or Jan Seva Kendra. Here you will have to complete your e-KYC through your thumb impression or biometric verification. The government wants every farmer to fully verify themselves so that no unwanted person can misuse the scheme. If e-KYC is not done, no future installment will be directly inserted into the beneficiary’s account and it can be stuck. Apart from this, the beneficiaries can use their registration number or Aadhaar number on the PM Kisan portal to find out the details of their application status or latest installment from time to time. There are options available on the portal like “Benefitory Status” and “Beneficiary List”, from where farmers can check whether their name is in the list or not and their previous installments have been found or not. This initiative of the government reflects its commitment to make the farmers of the country self -reliant and provide direct financial assistance to them, as well as ensure that this aid reaches the right hands in a transparent and safe manner.
