Many people believe that if they fill petrol worth Rs 110, 210 or 310, they can avoid being cheated. But according to a video that has gone viral on the internet, a petrol pump employee has proved this notion wrong. He has given two easy ways to fill petrol which every driver should know.
Keep these two things in mind while filling fuel.
In the video, the attendant said that people mostly fill petrol worth Rs 110, 210 or 310, but it is not safe or beneficial in any way. To get the right quantity and pure quality of fuel, just these two things need to be checked…
Check the “Density” of the Machine
The density of petrol should be between 720 to 775, while the density of diesel should be between 820 to 860. This data is visible on the machine itself. If the density is within this range, the fuel is pure and has not been adulterated. If this figure is too low or high, the fuel quality is questionable.
Look at the reading after “0” on the meter.
While filling petrol the meter must start from “0”. But not only this, the further reading of the meter should also increase properly. According to the attendant, if the meter goes straight to 10 or 12 after 0, the machine may have been tampered with. Therefore, there is a risk of getting less petrol or diesel.
