News India Live, Digital Desk: The pink cold being felt in the morning and evening in Jharkhand is now going to turn into real winter. The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast that from Saturday (November 8), the cold wave will increase further in the state and the temperature will drop rapidly. Dry and icy winds coming from the mountains will now show their effect in Jharkhand, due to which the cold and chill is going to increase.

Why and how much will the cold increase?

According to meteorologists, the effect of cold and dry winds coming from North India is going to increase on Jharkhand. After the impact of cyclonic storm ‘Montha’ is over, the weather has now become dry in the state, which has created favorable conditions for the drop in temperature.

• Drop in temperature: According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the state may drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in the next few days. At many places the mercury may drop below 10 degrees Celsius.
• Fog and mist will increase: With the drop in temperature, the effect of fog and mist will also increase in many parts of the state, especially in the northern parts, in the morning.
• When will the effect be visible: Meteorologists say that the increase in cold will be felt from Saturday itself, which will continue throughout the next week.

How will the weather be throughout the week?

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any major change in the weather (like rain) in the state for the coming seven days.

• Weather will be dry: The sky will remain clear and the weather will remain dry throughout the week. There is no chance of rain.
• Sunny during the day, cool at nights: People will get some relief from the cold due to sunshine during the day, but in the evening the temperature will drop rapidly and the nights will become very cold.
• Condition of Ranchi and surrounding areas: The impact of cold will be felt more in the capital Ranchi and southern districts of the state. The minimum temperature of Ranchi may go below 15 degrees.

At present, maximum cold is being felt in the southern districts of the state, while Santhal and northern districts are experiencing relatively less cold. But now the effect of northern winds will increase cold in the entire state.

Cautionary advice:
The Meteorological Department has advised people, especially children and the elderly, to wear warm clothes to avoid cold. Special caution is needed in the morning and evening.
