We all know that when family matters go out, things only get worse. Something similar has happened here also. Three teachers of the university thought that they would go directly to the head of the state i.e. CM Yogi Adityanath If he goes to the university administration and complains about it, perhaps he will be applauded. But, this bet of his has backfired on him.
What happened after all?
The whole matter is that three LU teachers had written a letter to the Chief Minister. In this he had made serious allegations regarding the functioning of the university and some appointments. The CM office took the matter seriously and ordered an investigation. But when the layers were revealed, the story turned out to be different.
The investigation by the University Administration and the Executive Council found that the teachers Complaints are completely false, baseless and misleading (False & Baseless) Were. Meaning, wrong information was given to CM Sahib.
Strict action by the university
Now the university administration is in no mood to put this matter on the back burner. There was a heated debate on this issue in the Executive Council meeting and it was decided that action would be taken against these three teachers. Disciplinary Action Will be done.
It is believed that the administration’s argument is that giving wrong information directly to the CM is not only a violation of the rules (Bypassing the channel), but it is also an attempt to tarnish the image of the university.
What could be the punishment?
If reports are to be believed, show cause notices can be issued to these teachers or a departmental inquiry can be conducted. If the reply is not found satisfactory, the matter may even go up to suspension. There is a hushed discussion in the campus that this action is being taken as a ‘lesson’ for others, so that in future no one distorts the facts and presents them in the CM’s court.
