New Delhi: Amidst the elections in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the BJP government of Haryana is putting the lives of the people of Delhi in danger by mixing poison in the Yamuna river. The BJP-Congress complained to the Election Commission about this claim of Kejriwal and now the Commission has sought an answer from Apawada and asked to give evidence of the claim.
Kejriwal claimed a press conference that the CEO of the Delhi Jal Board has confirmed that ammonia has been added to the water of Yamuna river. We will not allow the people of Delhi to be in danger, Kejriwal also indicated that we will not hesitate to take legal action in this matter.

After this, the Election Commission sought an answer from Kejriwal and reminded him that there could be a punishment of up to three years for spoiling public peace and unity of the country. The Election Commission asked to hand over the proof of the claim of poisoning Kejriwal by Wednesday and also sought clarification from the Haryana government.
